An agricultural awareness programme was conducted to help maize farmers understand integrated pest-management practices. Farmers were introduced to methods for identifying and controlling pests while maintaining appropriate crop-management practices. Such programmes help reduce avoidable crop losses and encourage more efficient use of agricultural inputs. Field-level demonstrations also give farmers practical knowledge that can be applied directly to their farms. Agricultural extension activities like these support productivity and sustainable farming practices across the district.
